• Hebrew document translation

Tell me whether you need help with a deposition, hearing, interview, meeting or written document. For documents, include the document type and who will receive it—for example, an attorney, a court or USCIS. This helps me confirm the service, scope and delivery requirements.

An interpreter works with spoken language during a live conversation or proceeding, in person or remotely. A translator works with written documents. I provide Hebrew–English interpreting in both directions and focus on Hebrew-to-English document translation. You can request both services for the same matter.

Tell me the date, time and time zone of your actual deadline or appointment. Translation timing depends on the document’s length, complexity, legibility, formatting and delivery requirements. I confirm the scope and timing before work begins. Uploading a document does not confirm a delivery date.

Yes. In-person assignments in San Diego are available by arrangement. Send the venue, date, start time, expected duration and type of proceeding or meeting. I confirm availability and any applicable travel arrangements before the booking is final.

Yes. Clients in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and Orange County can request Hebrew-to-English document translation remotely, and Hebrew–English interpreting by video or phone. In-person assignments in these areas are arranged according to availability. I am based in San Diego; travel and its costs are discussed in advance.

You can submit birth, marriage and divorce certificates, legal documents, business contracts, letters, messages and personal records for review. I check the content, legibility, intended use and scope before accepting the work. Include all pages and any requirements from the receiving organization.

Yes. You can request Hebrew-to-English document translation with a translator’s certification for a USCIS submission. The general USCIS requirement is a full English translation, certified by the translator as complete and accurate, together with certification that the translator is competent to translate from the source language into English. Include the filing instructions you received so the document and certification requirements can be reviewed.

No. The translator’s certification addresses the translation’s completeness and accuracy and the translator’s competence. Notarization is a separate notarial act; it does not certify the translation’s accuracy. The general USCIS translation rule does not require notarization, but check the instructions for your specific filing. If the receiving organization requires notarization, it can be coordinated in advance at an additional cost.

I do not claim current Judicial Council of California registration or certification. My California court work is subject to the court’s provisional qualification and appointment requirements. The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California lists me as Language Skilled for Hebrew. This federal roster designation is distinct from court certification. Send the venue and its requirements so eligibility can be confirmed before booking.

• Court interpreting and qualification details

Send the court or venue, type of proceeding, date, time zone, expected duration and whether the assignment is in person, by video or by phone. Share relevant names, terminology and preparation materials through an agreed channel. Court qualification and appointment requirements depend on the proceeding and the court; an inquiry is not a confirmed appointment.

The quote depends on the service and scope. For interpreting, I need the date, format, expected duration and location. For translation, I need the complete document, language direction, intended use and deadline. Applicable booking minimums, rush fees, declarations, notarization, travel and delivery costs are identified before you confirm the work.

Send all pages together and check what the receiving organization actually requires. A translator’s declaration, notarization and a printed or mailed copy are different services; you may not need all of them. Allowing time for review can also help you avoid an urgent request. The quote will identify the agreed services and any additional charges.

My primary written translation direction is Hebrew to English. English-to-Hebrew document requests are reviewed case by case, depending on the content and availability. Spoken interpreting is available in both directions. Please specify the source language and the language you need.

Provide a clear scan or photograph of every page, including stamps, notes and handwriting. Include the intended recipient, language direction, deadline and any required English spellings of names. If an NDA is required before disclosure, wait for a signed agreement before sharing confidential material. Do not upload medical records or other protected health information through this website; contact me first. Uploading does not start an automatic translation.

Digital PDF delivery is available. Tell me in advance if the receiving organization needs a printed original, wet signature, notarized declaration or physical delivery. Those arrangements and any additional costs are confirmed separately. I preserve names, dates, numbers and meaningful document structure, and flag unclear or illegible text rather than guessing.

• Document translation and delivery

A signed Translator’s Declaration of Accuracy can be added to a completed translation. Notarization of the declaration and physical delivery can also be coordinated when the receiving institution requires them.

Yes. Remote Hebrew interpreting is available nationwide. In-person assignments are available throughout California, with travel considered for other locations.

Yes. Client-provided NDAs and confidentiality agreements can be signed before sensitive documents, recordings or case information are shared.

No. The request is sent for a private availability check. You will receive a separate confirmation or, when necessary, an alternative time.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are billed at 100% of the time originally booked, including the applicable half-day or full-day rate.

Rush service may be available. Work requested with less than two business days’ notice is subject to a 25% rush fee ($75 minimum). Same-day, overnight, weekend or holiday service may be quoted at 50%. Availability must be confirmed in advance.

אפשר לבדוק זמינות לעבודה דחופה. אישור העבודה והמועד תלויים בהיקף ובזמינות, ושירות דחוף עשוי להיות כרוך בתוספת תשלום. ציינו בפנייה שהבקשה דחופה ואת המועד המדויק. לעניינים דחופים, הדרך המהירה ביותר ליצור קשר היא להתקשר בין 7:00 ל-21:00 לפי שעון החוף המערבי בארצות הברית.

לא. הבקשה נשלחת לאשי לבדיקת פרטי העבודה והזמינות. הזמנה מאושרת רק לאחר קבלת אישור נפרד. אם מדובר בדיון, בעדות או בפגישה, ציינו תאריך, שעת התחלה, אזור זמן, משך צפוי ואם נדרש מתורגמן מרחוק או בנוכחות פיזית.
